Featuring Kelly Purkey │ March Release

Hello everyone! I wanted to pop in to share what I made with the most recent Kelly Purkey shop update. I was out of town the day of the shop update so I wasn't able to get my stuff made and photographed for you until now. The update was smaller this month but the Dreamer Kit was easily one of my favorite kits that Kelly has designed.

I'm not sure if Kelly designed this with Disney adventures in mind but it sure worked really well with some of my photos from our trip to Disney World. I plan on making a mini album for this trip but thought it would be fun to make a pocket page spread that I can slip into my daughters albums focusing on just her photos from the trip. That Dream Come True stamp is one of my favorites.

I LOVE that there was shades of purple in this kit and yes if you're reading my journaling up close there are some typos. Ugh. Choosing to roll with it for the time being.

The second project I made was a Q/A layout for my daughter. I try to ask her the same questions every year on her birthday but I forgot this past December so we did it the other day. I loved the big bold QA stamp from the In the News stamp set and used it as my starting point for the layout. I new I wanted the questions typed so I set that part up in Photoshop Elements and printed just the questions and answers on my background. I used an ombre stamp set from Michaels to stamp out the QA.

I also used the Wythe alpha stamp set on the layout. The stamps mimic the tiny little alpha stickers that are a classic in the scrapbooking world. I fussy cut each one out individually and just added a bit of adhesive to the edge so they would still bend up a little.

One of the things Kelly is trying to do with the kit subscriptions is to mix up the additional kit items each month. This month she added in a cool page of clear stickers and I used one of them as a base for more stamping. The think, believe, dream, dare stamp is such a cute sentiment and I love how it looks with the ombre ink.

I hope you have fun creating with this months shop items and I hope this gave you a little bit of inspiration on how to use your new stamps.

See you soon,
